i often divulge how profitable it would be for our family had i not grown up in memphis. here, i would have no trouble sending my kids to the equally, wonderful schools - "free schools" - in the city. that darn, sentimental nostalgia i feel for my alma mater, however, hampers any savings we might receive on the educational front. i can not say though i regret at all sending those i love to a school i cherish. all special moments - first day of school, school plays, holiday parties, drop off, times i'm able to 'spy', seeing old teachers - i get a little weepy. sweet, sweet times retold in the lives of these two.
